VitalVek collects health and fitness data you enter directly into the app including body weight, nutrition logs, workout history, body measurements, and daily check-in responses. With your permission, we access Apple HealthKit data including steps, heart rate variability, sleep duration, and active calories.
Your data is used exclusively to power the VitalVek app experience including AI coaching, progress tracking, and nutrition analysis. We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with third parties except as required to operate the app (Claude AI API for coaching features, Apple HealthKit for health data).
VitalVek uses Anthropic's Claude API to power AI coaching features. When you use the Coach chat or AI briefing, your health data is sent to Anthropic's API to generate responses. We send only the minimum data needed to generate relevant coaching advice.
Your data is stored locally on your device. If you enable the backup feature, a copy is stored on our servers at vitalvek.com to enable data recovery. You can delete your backup at any time from the Settings screen.
VitalVek does not use health data for advertising. Health data accessed from Apple HealthKit is used only within the app to provide coaching and tracking features. We do not store HealthKit data on our servers.
You can delete all your data at any time by using the "Delete all data" option in Settings. You can revoke Apple Health access at any time in iPhone Settings. You can contact us at [email protected] with any data requests.
